If you've shopped for agency ad accounts in regulated health and wellness, you've heard the same line from multiple providers: "We'll get you LegitScript-whitelisted."

The problem is most agencies saying this don't actually do what they claim.

The two things called "LegitScript-whitelisted"

What most providers actually mean is the Business Manager is categorized as Health & Wellness in Meta's data-source classification. That's a restriction, not an approval.

Your account is allowed to run in the health vertical, but it sits inside Meta's sensitive-category restriction layer. Same CPM penalties as every other health advertiser. Same pixel stripping. Same policy friction. Same approval delays. The agency that sold you "whitelisting" just got you into the room. They didn't change your tier inside it.

What true LegitScript whitelisting actually is: a Meta-side designation that recognizes you as a verified health advertiser at the entity level. It pairs your LegitScript certification with high-trust account credentialing on Meta's side.

The two are not the same.

Why the difference matters

The gap between categorized and credentialed shows up in real numbers:

Lower CPMs because the account doesn't sit in the healthcare auction penalty bucket. Pixel data flowing back instead of being stripped at the auction. Access to audience-building features standard health accounts lose. Policy review treating the advertiser as credentialed instead of category-default risky. Fewer ad rejections on identical creative.

This is the part that's hard to fake. Anyone can hold LegitScript certification. Few providers have the credentialed Meta-side relationship that turns it into actual whitelisting.

Why your own Business Manager can't do this

You can submit your LegitScript credentials through Meta's authorization panel in your own Business Manager. It's a feature anyone can find.

In regulated verticals, this basic submission often takes months and frequently never goes through. When it does, you're credentialed as authorized — not whitelisted. The trust tier doesn't move. You're still inside the sensitive-category restriction layer.

The same submission, run through a high-trust agency account that's already credentialed with Meta's policy side, processes differently. The certificate gets paired with infrastructure that already operates at the credentialed tier — and your business moves with it.

How Scoreify does it

Scoreify operates Meta ad accounts that are LegitScript-whitelisted at the entity level. We submit your LegitScript credentials directly to Meta and pair them with our high-trust accounts, not the basic authorization panel most providers offer.

You're recognized as a verified health advertiser from day one, running on infrastructure built for the category.
